Outdoor education
Bringing classroom learning to nature.
Learning outside the classroom context is one of the aims we pursue with our educational trips. We encourage teamwork, autonomy, responsibility, personal and group safety, and the learning of values through games, sports and workshops.
Integration between classmates, as well as deepening bonds amongst heads, teachers and students, are other goals we pursue.
In each outdoor experience we focus on the contact with nature, its care, and the ability for exploration and creativity. Our students are active learners and researchers, and nature offers them a whole sensory experience.
The following trips were designed based on our educational project for each of the following primary and secondary school years:2nd year EP Pre camp at school’s sports field.
3rd year EP – Camp.
6th year EP – End of school trip to Necochea
1st year ES – Sports Camp – Welcome to Secondary School.
2nd year ES – Nature and adventure experience in Tandil. Our students have the opportunity to learn and experience nature in an environment of mountains, forests and a lagoon, through the practice of boating, canopy, trekking and fishing. Values of teamwork, leadership, tolerance and initiative are taught.
