Initial Level
At the initial level, students take their first steps in systematized learning and integration into the social environment. We seek to develop a scientific, creative and ecological attitude addressing issues of their natural and social environment with an eye placed at the service of the other.
We put into practice different methodologies based on Reggio Emilia pedagogy, the theory of Multiple Intelligences, Teaching for Understanding and Visible Thinking.
We work with the fields of knowledge as a strategy to promote direct and participatory learning experiences:
Experimentation and autonomy.
Psychomotor and sensory integration.
Socio-emotional skills.
Digital skills.
Primary Level
At the primary level, we develop methodological innovations and pedagogical approaches including interdisciplinary learning based on problems and projects, teaching for understanding and working with multiple intellect palettes, cooperative learning and evaluation by rubrics.
We apply new methodologies that revolutionize the traditional class in relation to teaching-learning spaces, times and rhythms by providing differentiated and inclusive alternatives. We consider the learning times and stages of each student.
We incorporate fields of knowledge as a strategy to enrich the curricular design in spaces such as: Global Perspective Connections, Workshops on Multiple Intelligences, Exponential Technologies, Robotics and Programming, Educational Pastoral, deepening of Socio-Emotional Education and KiVa, 21st century Learning Clubs, Musical Thought and Ensemble, Performing Arts, among others.
Secondary Level
It is proposed a student protagonist of his own learning who, through various methodological strategies, develops knowledge, skills, aptitudes and attitudes.
We attend to the current generalist educational context with the possibility of choice in specific areas.
Our proposal, more comprehensive in the academic spectrum, incorporates professional and creative areas, promotes interdisciplinary projects together with new ways of evaluation, deepens bilingualism and places special emphasis on university articulation.
Through the STEAM project (Science, Technology, Electronics & Programming, Art, Mathematics), our students develop creative, collaborative and digital problem solving skills. They participate in workshops as a strategy to deepen and diversify learning.
At MH the Global Look is important for the formation of reflective leaders and global thinkers. We offer complementary proposals for study abroad and inspiring cultural exchanges.
